Taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan, the educational process from March 2020 has been carried out in a distance format in the learning management system http://dis.kaznmu.edu.kz/. During the period of study, the student studies disciplines through the electronic distance learning system MOODLE, where he is provided with all educational materials (lecture notes, video lectures, presentations), assignments (tests, written assignments, collective discussions) and the opportunity is realized online (chat, audio-video conferences) and offline (correspondence, discussion forum) consultations with teachers. At the cathedral meeting and the meeting of the CPC, a common position was developed on uploading content in 3 languages to Moodle (glossary, presentations, and video materials). Before each lesson, one student prepares and sends to the group (10 terms with translation and transcription in three languages), on the topic of the lesson. At the end of the lesson, a survey is conducted. At the end of the cycle, a thematic glossary can contain from 150 to 300 terms and stable phrases. The prepared materials are uploaded to Moodle after verification.
When organizing online lectures, tools integrated into the Moodle system are used (Microsoft Teams, etc.), where a teacher in a created online meeting can demonstrate a screen with a presentation, a video lecture to students. During the lesson, teachers place a lot of emphasis on the questions of the students, as it is important to make sure that they understand the material. During the lesson, a record is made, and students, if necessary, can return to this record when completing assignments, or if they want to repeat and consolidate the material passed. Lecture materials, including presentation slides, are laid out in the course of the Moodle system before the start of the lecture, and students can come to classes with ready-made questions.
When conducting seminars, an online meeting is also organized in tools integrated into the Moodle system (Microsoft Teams, etc.), and all tasks are similarly laid out in the Moodle system course.
The entire teaching staff of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry has full skills of working in a distance format on training platforms ZOOM, Cisco Webex Meetings, MS Office 365, Classroom, etc.
