The Department of Surgical Dentistry collaborates with the Tashkent State Dental Institute, particularly with the Department of Maxillofacial Traumatology; the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences; the Medical University of Sofia (Bulgaria); and Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, USA).
The department has also invited distinguished colleagues from the Russian Federation—renowned maxillofacial surgeons such as Academician A.A. Kulakov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor; V.V. Afanasyev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor; and M.A. Amkhadova.
During the 2022–2023 academic year, visiting professors Dr. V.V. Margvelashvili (Georgia) and Dr. I.M. Yuldashev delivered lectures at the department. In the 2023–2024 academic year, Dr. PhD, Associate Professor Yassin Yasa from Ordu University (Turkey), with an h-index of 11, was invited and taught at the department from 18 February to 03 March 2024.
