The Department of Surgical Dentistry maintains international cooperation with the Tashkent State Dental Institute, particularly with the Department of Maxillofacial Diseases and Traumatology; the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences; the Medical University of Sofia (Bulgaria); and Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, USA).
The Department of Surgical Dentistry has also invited distinguished specialists and maxillofacial surgeons from the Russian Federation, including
Academician A.A. Kulakov, MD, DSc, Professor; V.V. Afanasyev, MD, DSc, Professor; and M.A. Amkhadova, MD, DSc, Professor.
During the
2022–2023 academic year, Professor V.V. Margvelashvili, MD, DSc (Georgia) and Professor I.M. Yuldashev, MD, DSc delivered lectures at the Department as visiting professors.
During the
2023–2024 academic year, Yassin Yasa, PhD, Associate Professor, from Ordu University (Türkiye) was invited as a visiting professor. His visit took place from February 18 to March 3, 2024. His H-index is 11.
In the summer of
2025, KCBANA organized a visit by maxillofacial and plastic surgeons Dr. Hubert and Dr. Lee to City Clinical Hospital No. 5. Faculty members of the Department, residents, and students attended their clinical consultations and master classes.
